Haselbech Cooking Demo

About 40 women came to the private house in Haselbech to gain useful cooking tips from Adam before the festive season got well under way.

Adam demonstrated how to cook Seared Organic Salmon with an apple and radish salad then Roast chump of lamb with crushed turnips and tarragon in the morning session. The afternoon session started off with a Spiced poached pear, rich chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream and was followed by a Caramelized onion tart with flakes of turkey and melting Stilton cheese. This last dish showed the women an alternative way of using left over turkey once the Christmas day festivities have finishedrather than the usual turkey curry or sandwiches!!!

Tickets were sold for the demo and over £1000 were raised for the NSPCC and Haselbech church.
